In view of the low compactness of traditional cementitious material, insufficient corrosion resistance, streng-thening fibers and substrate bonding weakness and other problems that do not meet the durability requirement of concrete structure under harsh environments, nano-modification technology has been used to adjust the hydration and hardening process, to optimize the compositions and micro-structure, and to strengthen the connection between the fiber and the concrete substrate.

Through the research of this direction, the durability of cement concrete materials are effectively improved. Nanomaterials for surface treatment are also developed for the special needs of surface concrete, which provides a broad space for the functionalization development of concrete. The research results were successfully applied to the project of Yunnan Luhu Airport at an altitude of 3400m.
